As the summer comes to a close and we bid farewell to another season of camp life us camp people suffer a condition we refer to as 'returning to the real world'. Imagine, if you will, running full speed in one direction to suddenly stop and turn full speed into another. It's much like being plunged suddenly into cold water and find yourself having a hard time catching your breath. I have found it to be a time of re-finding myself and attempt to figure out what matters. I tend to stand motionless in my living room unsure of exactly how I feel, what matters and what I should be doing. The world looks different. It's almost paralyzing. But then you remember that you have no time to be paralyzed and sprint off in another direction.
Good luck, my dear friends!! Only 10 months until it all starts again!
